FASTag Pass- Good news for FASTag users. Now you’ll need only Rs 15 for annual pass. Yes you’ve heard it right. The central government is now going to start annual fastag pass in the country from 15 August this year. Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari had given this information through social media. Nitin Gadkari had said that you can make 200 journeys with a fastag pass of Rs 3000.
After the introduction of this new fast tag, the driver will be able to cross a toll plaza in just 15 rupees. Today we are going to give you information in this regard. We will tell you how crossing a toll plaza will cost you only 15 rupees. If you cross 200 tolls within 3000 rupees, you will have to pay 15 rupees per toll.
In this way, this will prove to be a profitable deal for people who travel a lot. Generally, the minimum amount to be paid at a toll is 50 rupees. In this way, if you cross 200 toll plazas, you will have to pay ten thousand rupees. Through the annual Fastag pass, you will save seven thousand rupees every year.
How will the Annual Pass be activated?
The Annual Pass will be activated after confirmation of the eligibility of the vehicle and the corresponding Fastag. After successful verification, the user has to pay Rs 3000 for 2025-26 through the Highway Yatra mobile app or NHAI website. Once the payment is confirmed, the Annual Pass will be activated on the registered Fastag.
Can you get an Annual Pass if my Fastag is registered using only Chassis Number?
Answer is no. Annual Pass cannot be issued on FASTags that are registered with only chassis number. You will need to update the Vehicle Registration Number (VRN) to activate the Annual Pass.
