Download with Aadhar number

- For this, go to the official website or click on the ‘Download Aadhar’ option from the My Aadhar option, or go to the link https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genricDownloadAadhaar.
- After this, select the Aadhar number.
- After this, enter the 2-digit Aadhaar number, security code, and click on the ‘Send OTP’ option to receive a time-based password on your registered mobile number.
- If you want to download masked Aadhaar, then choose the ‘Masked Aadhaar’ option.
- Now enter the OTP and click on ‘Verify’ and ‘Download’.
- After verification, you will get a password-protected PDF of your Aadhaar card in your download folder. To open the file, you have to enter an 8-character password. The password is the first 4 letters of your name (in Aadhaar) in capital letters and YYYY format.
How to download Aadhaar with Virtual ID
- Go to UIDAI’s online portal.
- Click on ‘Download Aadhaar’ listed under ‘My Aadhaar’.
- Select the VID option.
- Now, enter your Virtual ID, security code, and click on ‘Send OTP’ for OTP.
- E-Aadhaar will be downloaded to your system.
- You can access it by entering the Aadhaar card password. This is an 8-digit password to open the PDF file – the first four letters of your name in capitals and ‘year of birth’

How to download Aadhaar by name and date of birth

- For this, visit the official website of Aadhaar https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/retrieve-eid-uid.
- After this, enter your full name and your registered email ID or mobile number and security code.
- Click on the option to send OTP.
- Now, enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on the ‘Verify OTP’ button.
- A message will appear on the screen stating that the Aadhaar number/enrolment ID has been sent to your registered mobile number.
- On receiving your Aadhaar enrolment number or Aadhaar number on your mobile, go to the e-Aadhaar page on the official UIDAI website.
- Enter your 28-digit enrolment ID or 12-digit Aadhaar number, security code, and click on ‘Send OTP’.
