Aadhaar Card: You will have many types of documents which you need for different works. For example, if you want to drive a car, then you need a driving license and if you want to avail free ration, then you need a ration card. One of these documents is your Aadhaar card, without which many of your government or non-government works can get stuck. If there is any mistake in the Aadhaar card issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI, then it should be corrected, otherwise many of your works can get stuck. For example, many people make mistakes in printing the name in Aadhaar. So if your name is printed wrongly in your Aadhaar card too, then you can get it corrected.
This is how you can get the wrong name in Aadhaar corrected
1. If you are an Aadhaar cardholder and your name is printed incorrectly in your Aadhaar, you can get it corrected.
2. For this, first of all you have to find your nearest Aadhaar service center.
3. After this, you have to take an appointment online or offline and go to the centre on the day your turn comes.
4. Now you have to go to the Aadhaar service center on the appointment day. You have to go here and get the correction form.
5. Fill this form and enter the required information like Aadhaar number, your name etc.
6. Also, mention in this form what you want to update in Aadhaar, such as name.
7. You have to attach the relevant documents along with this form. For example, if you want to get your name corrected, you will have to submit documents for it. Keep the original documents with you as well.
8. Now when your number comes, take the form to the concerned officer.
9. After this your fingerprints are taken so that you can be verified.
10. Then your photo is clicked.
11. After this the document in your name is verified.
12. Now if everything is found correct then your correct name will be updated.
13. Finally, you are charged Rs 50 and within a few days your correct name is updated in Aadhaar
