The MT-15 V2 comes with a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve engine that produces 18.1 bhp of power and 14.1 Nm of torque. It also gets a VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) system that delivers excellent performance at both low and high RPM.
Its 6-speed gearbox comes with assist and slipper clutch for smooth shifting. This bike comes with shorter gearing than the R15, which improves acceleration. However, the top speed is slightly reduced.
