Ola S1 Pro Gen 3: Ola recently launched the all-new version of S1 Pro scooter in the market. This new version features some major changes and improvements as compared to its previous model which was S1 Pro Gen 2. Let’s check what’s new changes occurs in this new S1 Pro Gen 3 Model;

Ola Gen 3 Platform Chain Drive:

Earlier, riders were having scooter belt drives. Now chain drive will replace it. This has led to an increase of 4 percent in energy efficiency and 7 percent in acceleration.

Apart from this, the chain’s life will be twice that of the belt drive. Torque will also be higher. The company says that the chain will be as noisy as the belt drive.

Gen 3 Platform New Powertrain:

Now mid-drive electric motors will be in every Ola scooter. Compared to the hub motor, it is four times more energetic and five times more reliable. The new motor now features MCU also.

All New Brake-By-Wire Technology:

This technology will be in every vehicle created on the Gen 3 platform. And they will get a single-channel anti-lock braking system. But a dual-channel anti-lock braking system will be in some Ola vehicles as well.

Brake-by-wire will also help in increasing the driving range by 18 percent because it features brake regeneration. This will also help in increasing the life of the brake pads.

Ola S1 Pro Gen 3 Price:

This scooter is offered in two variants, one with 3 kWh battery and the other with 4 kWh battery.

Well, the starting price of Ola S1 Pro Gen 3 is Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) which goes up to Rs 2.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the top model. However, Prices may vary based on different geographical locations.
