Updated 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 & 250  : Bajaj has given a new look to its popular bike series Dominar for 2025. The company has updated both the Dominar 400 and Dominar 250 and launched them in the market. Now these bikes have become even more touring-friendly and advanced. As per the new price, the ex-showroom price of Dominar 400 is ₹ 2.38 lakh in Delhi, while the price of Dominar 250 has been kept at ₹ 1.91 lakh.

Use of new technology in Dominar 400

The most important change in the 2025 Dominar 400 is the Ride-by-Wire system, which is now controlled by the electronic throttle body. With its help, four different riding modes can be used – Road, Rain, Sport and Off-Road. This technology makes riding even better on long rides and different routes.

Dominar 250 is also not far behind

Although the Dominar 250 still has a mechanical throttle body, it has also been upgraded with four ABS modes. This gives the bike more control during braking, especially on wet or slippery roads.

Many small changes to improve the riding experience

Both bikes now have a new handlebar, which will reduce fatigue on the hands while traveling long distances. The speedometer also now comes with bonded glass and is housed in a sealed unit to protect it from the weather. Due to this, the readings are clearly visible even in strong sunlight or rain.

Navigation and control made easier

Bajaj has also provided a separate GPS mount in these bikes, which is special for those riders who like to track the route with a proper GPS device instead of a mobile. Apart from this, the switchgear has also been slightly improved so that the rider can get a more clear and easy touch feel.

Performance is the same, but with reliability

No major changes have been made in the performance of these bikes. The Dominar 400 gets the same 373cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine, which produces 39.42 bhp of power at 8,800 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. At the same time, the Dominar 250 has a 249cc engine that generates 26.6 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 23.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Both get 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch as standard.

Dominar’s journey so far

The Dominar series started in 2017 as a powerful touring bike. Over time, this series has become even stronger and more reliable. Initiatives like Bajaj’s ‘Dominar Odysseys’ have given this bike a distinct identity. In these rides, Dominar has conquered many tough routes of the world like Arctic and Trans-Siberian Highway. So far, Dominar riders have covered more than 3 lakh kilometers in seven different Odysseys.

Conclusion

The 2025 Bajaj Dominar series has now become more rider-friendly than ever. With new technology, better comfort and advanced features, these bikes are emerging as a perfect choice for those who travel long distances. In terms of price and performance, they are also proving to be a great option in their segment.
