Triumph 350 cc Range Launch 2026 – know what will be new

Triumph 350 cc Range – Indian bike market is currently undergoing tremendous changes. Companies are constantly creating new strategies, especially in the mid-capacity segment. In such a situation, the news of Triumph 350 cc Range Launch 2026 is nothing short of a surprise for bike lovers.

The sub-350cc Triumph bike that was under discussion since last year, now its launch timeline is almost fixed. And the interesting thing is that this time the story is not just about the new bike, but to change the whole strategy. So let’s understand in easy language.

Launch

Let me tell you that Rajiv Bajaj, managing director of Bajaj Auto, has clearly stated in a TV interview that the new 350cc Triumph motorcycles will be ready for launch in the market by April 2026. He said during the conversation on CNBC TV18, “350 cc Triumphs are ready to go to market by April.”

This step was not taken suddenly. Rakesh Sharma, executive director of Bajaj Auto last year, indicated that the company was going to re-aline its portfolio to the new GST slab. After the change in GST in September 2025, the segment below 350cc has become more attractive to companies.

Engine

The biggest change in the new Triumph 350 cc range will be seen in the engine. The 400 series available right now offers a 398cc engine. But now the company is preparing to reduce the cubic capacity of the engine based on the same platform to less than 350cc.

However, a slight decrease in power and torque can be seen. The current 400 range gives around 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque. These figures may come down slightly in the new 350cc unit. The slight decline in performance can be balanced by better mileage and economical price.

Bajaj-Triumph Partnership

You will know that the partnership of Bajaj and Triumph has already generated a lot of discussion in the Indian market. The 400 Series received good response in the entry-level premium segment. Now the company wants to get into the market to a greater depth through the 350cc range.

This step is the same as if a player first identified with the big shots and then played the innings long with a single-double. The 350cc segment is very large in India. Companies like Royal Enfield have already made this category stronger.

Production Hub

Another important point is that India is not just a sales market, but also a production hub. These bikes are prepared and sent to many countries from Bajaj’s Chakan plant.

If the 350cc range is successful in India, it is likely to be exported to other emerging markets as well. That is, a bike made from an Indian factory can run on the roads around the world.
