Toyota Urban Cruiser BEV

Toyota has already won the hybrid car market in India, and now the company is going to enter the field of electric vehicles. After showcasing the Urban Cruiser BEV concept at the Auto Expo 2025, Toyota has started preparing for its Indian launch. This car is based on Maruti Suzuki’s e-Vitara, but Toyota has presented it in its own style.

Design

Talking about its design, it has a modern and muscular look, which includes stylish LED headlights, bold grille and sporty alloy wheels. If you are looking for a premium looking electric SUV? Then Urban Cruiser BEV can be perfect for you.

Performance

  • Base variant: It will get a 49 kWh LFP battery with 106 kW (142 hp) power and 189 Nm torque.
  • Mid variant: It will get a 106 kW motor but a bigger 61 kWh battery.
  • Top variant: It will get a dual motor setup, 181 hp power and 300 Nm torque generation.

Let us tell you that probably only the base and mid variants will be launched in India. The range of the mid variant is expected to be around 500 km, which makes it perfect for urban and highway driving.
