No change in engine and power

The strong hybrid has Toyota’s 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol engine, which comes with an electric motor and can also run in electric-only mode for some distance in urban areas. On the other hand, the mild hybrid version gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which can be availed with manual or automatic gearbox options. All-wheel drive option is also available in some variants.
Hyrider sales and warranty information
More than one lakh units of this Toyota SUV have been sold in the country so far, making it one of the company’s successful vehicles. The company offers a standard warranty of three years or one lakh kilometres on this vehicle, which customers can extend to five years or 2.2 lakh kilometres if they wish. The hybrid battery gets a warranty of eight years or 1.6 lakh kilometres.
Toyota’s future plans
Toyota has recently launched the 48V mild-hybrid version of the Fortuner in the Indian market and by the end of this year the company is also preparing to introduce its first electric car.

Hyrider BEV will also be launched soon
The battery electric version of the Toyota Urban Cruiser i.e. BEV has been introduced first in Brussels and then in Delhi during BMGE 2025. This vehicle is similar to Maruti Suzuki’s e-Vitara in many respects and will be launched with two different battery options. This car, made in the Gujarat plant, claims that it can give a range of more than 500 km on a single charge.
Conclusion
Toyota’s new Prestige package is for those customers who want to give a different and stylish look to the Hyrider. Its accessories not only make the SUV more attractive, but its style also looks premium to some extent. Although this package is limited to the looks only, there is no change in the performance of the SUV.
