Top Upcoming Electric Cars Under Rs 10 Lakh in 2025 : Gone are the days when electric cars were the privilege of the affluent. All manufacturers in India are trying to put an affordable line of electric vehicles (EVs) for the common man by the year 2025. According to a survey, rising fuel prices and environmental concerns are highly favored among citizens, and thus cheap electric vehicles are in great demand. Therefore, if you tend to be an EV seeker on a budget, I will tell you about some trendy cars that were expected to be sold for under 10 lakh rupees this year.
Tata Tiago EV New Variant

Tata already enjoys an upper hand in the EV game practically, and now they are bringing a new variant of the Tiago EV at the more affordable end. The deal is likely to be with a downsized battery pack giving the car a range of 200-220 km, just enough to zip around town. Going by Tata’s marketing strategy, the new variant could probably start at ₹8 lakh, which would make it one of the, if not the, cheapest EVs in the Indian market.
MG Comet EV

MG Comet is already not the cheapest electric car. The new MG Comet EV 2025 might get another new model in the future that is longer on features and riding on higher range. The MG Comet is a simple two-door public transportation vehicle, and is compact for urban duties. The price of this all-new updated model may well remain under the pressure limit of ₹9.5 lakh, thus nicely within reach of equally budget-conscious urban drivers.
Maruti Suzuki eWX

Maruti Suzuki will be enlivening the competitive yet budget EV space with its eWX hatchback for the wallet-anxious consumers. This model will land sometime in the year 2025. It will carry a price of around ₹10 lakh and is expected to deliver between 250 and 300 km on a single charge. Of course with some smart features in the offering, of course packaged along with the legendary and trusted Maruti service network.
Renault Kwid EV

Renault is about to launch an iconic Kwid electric version shortly. The Kwid EV has already seen the international launch in some markets and is scheduled for India sometime late 2025. With a likely range of around 250 km and a price tag under ₹10 lakh, this electric vehicle could turn budget EVs into a game-changing segment.
