Tesla Model Y Facelift: One of the world’s top electric car companies, has launched a new electric car. This car is a facelift version of Tesla’s popular ‘Model Y’. Tesla is owned by American businessman Elon Musk. In view of the increasing competition from companies like China’s BYD, Musk has introduced this new car. Last year, Chinese companies gave a tough challenge to Tesla at the global level. Now Tesla has expressed its intention to compete with Chinese companies through a new car.

In 2024, the best-selling electric car in the world is the Tesla Model Y. Capitalizing on the popularity of Model Y at the global level, the company launched its facelift model. Currently, the sale of Model Y Facelift has started in select markets of Asia only. This electric car can give a range of up to 719 km on a single full charge.

Tesla’s competition with China

China’s involvement in the global EV market is increasing rapidly. China is the world’s largest EV market. Companies like BYD and Xiaomi sell world-class electric cars here. BYD sells electric cars all over the world including India, America, and Europe. The new Model Y facelift can play an important role in overcoming Chinese EV companies like BYD.

Features

The 2025 Model Y is 47mm longer than the current Model Y. Its design resembles the Cybercab robot taxi. Tesla’s new car can be purchased in Pure Black, Starry Gray, Pearl White, Glacier Blue, Flame Red, and Quicksilver color options.

It will get a 15.5-inch touchscreen, which has all the controls. An 8-inch touchscreen has been provided for the rear passengers. Apart from this, self-driving packages are also available.

Range and Price

The single charge range of the RWD version of the new Tesla Model Y is 662 km. The launch range AWD version can cover a distance of 719 km on a single full charge. The price of the RWD version of this electric car is around Rs 30.94 lakh, while the price of the long-range AWD version is around Rs 35.63 lakh.
