Interior

Sierra EV’s future is clearly seen as it steps inside the cabin. Its interior is designed with fully digital and minimal approach. Large touchscreen infotainment systems, digital instrument clusters and multi-function steering wheels make it take-loaded.

Space in the cabin feels more due to the flat floor design. Rear seat passengers are also expected to get good legroom and headroom. Premium upholstery, ambient lighting and panoramic glass area give it a feeling like a luxury lounge.

Powertrain

Let me tell you that Tata has not yet made public the full details of Sierra EV’s powertrain, but it is expected that it will be based on the company’s advanced EV architecture. Once charged, the possibility of getting a range of about 500 kilometers is being raised.

The instant torque from the electric motor makes the Sierra EV smooth and confidant on city roads as well as on highways. Fast charging support will also be provided for charging, so that long distance anxiety is reduced.

Features and Safety

Tata Sierra EV will not be allowed to be lacking in terms of features. It is expected to feature features such as Level 2 ADAS, multiple airbags, 360-degree cameras, connected car technology and OTA updates.

Now talk about its launch, Tata Sierra EV can be launched in India around 2026. The SUV will remain at a premium position in Tata’s electric line-up. Talking about price, its estimated price can be between ₹25 lakh to ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Sierra EV in this range will target customers who want to go one step above Nexon EV and Harrier EV and are looking for a unique, iconic EV SUV.
