Tata Motors’ lineup includes many vehicles. In this list, the small SUV Punch is the best-selling vehicle in the country. At the same time, there are some vehicles whose sales are not as expected. We are talking about Tata’s premium car Harrier, this SUV got only 1,265 customers in March 2025.

Whereas last year, i.e. in March 2024, 2,054 units of Tata Harrier were sold. These figures clearly show that the demand for SUVs is continuously decreasing. This is the reason why the company is giving a discount of up to ₹ 75 thousand on the purchase of Harrier in the month of April. Let’s take a look at its price, features and specifications.

Tata Harrier’s strong price

The starting price of Tata Harrier in the domestic market is ₹ 15 lakh ex-showroom. At the same time, to buy its top end model, you will have to pay ₹ 26.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This car is available in 4 variants like Smart, Pure, Adventure and Fearless.

Features and powerful specifications

Tata Harrier is a premium SUV, in which full attention has been given to the comfort and safety of the passengers. Its interior features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, large digital driver display, 10-speaker JBL sound system, panoramic sunroof, multi-color ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, and wireless phone charger.

Safety

Apart from this, for safety, 7 airbags (6 standard), 360 degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system (TMPS), electronic stability control with hill assist and level-2 ADAS are available in higher variants. This SUV has received a 5-star rating in the BNCAP crash test.

In the Indian market, Tata Harrier competes with vehicles like the Mahindra Scorpio N, which is already quite popular. This is the reason why despite having all the advanced features, Harrier is not getting customers as expected.
