Tata Altroz Facelift: Tata Motors is preparing to launch the facelift model of its premium hatchback Altroz in the Indian market. If reports are to be believed, this powerful car can be introduced on 21 May 2025. The updated model will come with a new design, advanced features, and better technology. This new form of Altroz will create a stir in the premium hatchback segment.
Tata Altroz Facelift
Many exterior and interior updates will be seen in the new model of Tata Altroz. According to the spy photos, it can get a new front grille, updated LED daytime running lights (DRLs), revised bumpers, and newly designed alloy wheels. In the rear profile, LED taillamps and a tweaked tailgate are also expected to be given as new updates. Overall, the new look of Altroz will be more attractive and sporty than before.

Equipped with modern features
Updates are also expected in the cabin of the new Tata Altroz Facelift. It will get state-of-the-art features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, sunroof, 360-degree camera, and iRA-connected car technology. The interior will be given a more premium touch with new upholstery and a refined center console, which will make the driving experience even better.
Engine and Specifications
The Tata Altroz facelift is totally likely to retain the same original engine options as the present model. It gets the first 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 88 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque. With this, there is a choice of 5-speed manual or 6-speed DCT automatic transmissions. Apart from this, there is also an option of 1.2-liter turbo petrol, which generates 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. DCT options can be given with this along with 6-speed manual transmission. Apart from this, 1.5-litre turbo diesel and 1.2-litre iCNG options are also likely to remain, which will give customers a great option for power and eco-friendliness.
Mileage
Talking about Tata Altroz mileage, its petrol model is capable of giving mileage of 18.05 to 19.33 km/liter, diesel model 23.64 to 25.1 km/liter, and CNG model 26.2 km/kg. The performance of the facelift model is also expected to be around these mileage figures, making it an economical option for everyday use.
Strong safety

Tata Altroz is known for its 5-star Global NCAP rating, and the facelift model will also carry forward this legacy. It is also likely to get some basic ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features like 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), 360-degree camera, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Altroz has always been the best in terms of safety, and the new model will also not compromise in this matter.
How much will it cost
The Tata Altroz facelift is expected to be priced between ₹ 8 lakh to ₹ 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom), which will be slightly higher than the current model’s price of ₹ 6.65 lakh to ₹ 11.30 lakh. With an updated design, advanced features, and strong safety, the new Tata Altroz Facelift can further strengthen Tata’s position in the premium hatchback segment.
