Scooter: In India, scooters are not only transport; they’re a means of survival for daily commuting. Of all models, only three scooters have retained their positions month after month. These aren’t only bestsellers, they’re cornering the market. If you’re thinking of buying a scooter in the near future, take a look at the three most reliable brands that are reigning supreme in the Indian market.
Honda Activa
Honda Activa remains the king of scooters. Although its sales fell by 21.47%, it still was number one. In June 2025, 1,83,265 units of Activa were sold. It is less than the 2,33,376 units that were sold in June 2024, yet its market share remained strong at 38.81%. Its reason for being so strong is that it has a smooth ride, reliable mileage, and a wide lineup of models. Honda has the Activa available in various variants such as Activa 6G, Activa 125, and Activa e. The prices of the basic Activa 6G begin at ₹82,136 (ex-showroom), and the highest variant Activa 125 may reach up to ₹1 lakh.
TVS Jupiter
TVS Jupiter came in second place with its sales demonstrating a high growth rate. Its sales increased by 49.76% from last year. In June 2025, 1,07,980 units were retailed, a significant increase from 72,100 units in June 2024. Jupiter has a reputation for being fuel-efficient and having smooth handling, which makes it a good option for daily commuting. Like Activa, it comes in both 110cc as well as 125cc engine variants. The base model of Jupiter costs ₹73,650 and goes up to approximately ₹93,000 (ex-showroom) for the highest model.
Suzuki Access
Suzuki Access remained firm at number three even after losing a little strength. It has registered sales of 51,555 units during June 2025, down from 52,192 units in the corresponding month last year. That is just 1.22% decline. Access 125 has the reputation of being stylish, powerful, and easy to use. It comes in 4 versions and 6 color shades. The on-road price of Suzuki Access 125 begins at ₹97,799, which is a good option for city commuters seeking comfort and power.
