Vision 7S Concept

Let me tell you that Skoda Peaq’s journey starts with the Vision 7S Concept, which was presented to the world in August 2022. This concept received tremendous response on global level and in India it also managed to grab the attention of the people in the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo.

 

Vision 7S concept had introduce Skoda’s new Modern Solid design language. It is designed to be philosophy bold as well as practical. Peaq is the production version of the same concept, that is, most of the futuristic elements that people liked in concept are now taking to the streets.

Design

Looking at Skoda Peaq, it would not look like it is an SUV made just for appearances. Modern Solid design language gives it muscular stance, in which the balance of sharp lines and clean surfaces looks clear. This design is future-ready, but not over-experimental.

Interior and Features

Skoda Peaq is going to have a good mix of interior space and technology. Many of the features shown in Concept can also be seen in production version. This includes sporty seats, double D-cut steering wheel and fully digital driver display.

Also features like rotating infotainment screen, smart dials for climate and audio controls, and dual wireless phone chargers make it future-ready. Cabin’s focus will be on the comfort of both driver and passengers, so that long-distance trips don’t even look tiring.

However production model will have some practical changes. Suicide doors and camera-based ORVMs given in Concept will now be replaced by conventional B-pillars and regular ORVMs, which are more perfect for everyday use.

Battery, Range and Charging

Talking about range, Skoda Peaq is more than expected in this case as well. It can be offered with a large battery pack of 89 kWh.

Its extended range can be up to about 600 km, making it an idol for long-distance trips. Also, 200 kW DC fast charging support is expected to be found, which will reduce the charging time significantly. That is, the SUV remodel at as many times as the coffee break at highway trips.

Launch Timeline

Skoda has not yet done the exact launch date share, but the global debut summer is expected in 2026. There is currently no official confirmation regarding India launch, but the way Vision 7S was showcase in India certainly raises expectations.
