Hybrid cars have been catching the eye of Indian buyers thanks to rising fuel prices, better range, and growing awareness about the environment. With fewer hybrid options in the market, carmakers are pushing hard to attract customers. This July, buyers can get discounts up to ₹1.85 lakh on three popular hybrid models with a driving range of nearly 1200 km, giving an affordable chance to own an advanced hybrid system without breaking the bank.

Maruti Grand Vitara

Maruti’s Grand Vitara strong hybrid version is among the hottest hybrid cars right now. Customers buying it in July 2025 can get benefits worth up to ₹1.85 lakh. This includes cash savings of ₹70,000, an exchange bonus up to ₹80,000, and an extended warranty of ₹35,000. For the mild hybrid version (MY2024), there is a saving of up to ₹1.65 lakh. Maruti’s CNG variant also comes with ₹20,000 cash benefits and an exchange bonus of up to ₹50,000.

Talking about the MY2025 models, the strong hybrid Grand Vitara gets a benefit of ₹1.45 lakh, while the mild hybrid version sees discounts up to ₹1 lakh. Buyers interested in the CNG option can get a total discount of ₹70,000. The company is also offering Dominion Edition accessories worth nearly ₹57,900 with these models, which adds to their appeal.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

Toyota’s Urban Cruiser Hyryder is another strong player in the hybrid market, available in both strong and smart hybrid variants. For the strong hybrid model, Toyota is giving a cash benefit of ₹25,000 along with an exchange bonus of ₹40,000. Existing Toyota owners can also get a loyalty bonus up to ₹50,000, making it easier to upgrade. On the smart hybrid variant, buyers can take advantage of total savings of ₹75,000, giving solid value with Toyota’s trusted hybrid technology.

Honda City eHEV

Honda City eHEV blends modern hybrid tech with proven Honda performance. The ZX variant is being offered with a discount up to ₹95,000 this July. Earlier, the ex-showroom price stood at ₹20.85 lakh, but now it has been cut down to ₹19.89 lakh. Under the hood, this sedan carries a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with two electric motors, delivering 126 BHP of power and 253 Nm of torque. Honda equips it with an eCVT gearbox, giving a fuel economy of 26.5 km per litre, and an overall range close to 1000 km, making it highly practical for long-distance drivers.
