Maruti Ignis: Maruti Suzuki has released a significant discount on its sub-compact Ignis this month. The vehicle is available at Nexa showrooms and comes with a maximum of ₹62,100 discount in August. With this discount, the hatchback becomes easier to afford for new customers in search of style, features, and affordability.
Discount Details
Ignis manual transmission models, such as Sigma and MT, are available with the maximum discount of ₹57,100. That includes ₹25,000 consumer offer, ₹30,000 exchange bonus, ₹2,100 corporate discount, and scrap bonus. Ignis AGS models are available with an overall saving of ₹62,100. The price range of the hatchback is between ₹5.85 lakh to ₹8.26 lakh.
Design and Styling
First launched in 2017, Ignis has sold over 2.8 lakh units in India. The new Radiance Edition adds subtle cosmetic changes, giving a bolder exterior design and premium interior feel. Built on Suzuki’s Total Effective Control Technology (STECT) platform, the hatchback offers strength, safety, and modern appeal.
Engine and Performance
Ignis has a 1.2-litre petrol engine delivering 83 PS power and 113 Nm torque. The vehicle has a 5-speed manual and an automatic transmission option. The car gives a claimed mileage of 20.89 km/l by Maruti. Boot space measures 260 litres, which suits the city and weekend usage. No CNG variant exists.

Features in Radiance Edition
Radiance Edition comes equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. It also comes with push start/stop button, automatic climate control, driver seat height adjuster, steering-mounted controls, TFT multi-information display, among others.
Safety Features
Safety-wise, Ignis receives dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking cam, rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control. It comes in 7 monotone and 3 dual-tone shades, namely Nexa Blue, Lucent Orange, Silky Silver, Turquoise Blue, and Pearl Arctic White.
