India’s well-known bike manufacturer Royal Enfield is now going to enter the electric two-wheeler segment. The company’s first electric bike Flying Flea C6 was shown as a concept model in early 2025. Now information has come to light that this bike can be launched in the Indian market between January and March 2026. After this, the second electric bike S6 Scrambler will also be introduced.
Flying Flea C6: Combination of retro look and modern technology
This bike will come with a design inspired by the old-fashioned ‘Flying Flea’, which includes round headlight, classic indicators and slender tank design.
Alloy wheels (19 inches) have been installed in the bike and mono-shock rear suspension with belt drive system has been given.
Its frame will be made of aluminum and the battery is fitted under the tank, on which cooling fins will also be seen.
The performance of the Flying Flea C6 is expected to be equal to that of a 300cc petrol engine bike.
This bike can give a range of 100 to 150 km on a single charge.
Technical features that will make it special
It will have a 3.5-inch round TFT display, which will have features like smartphone connectivity, Google Maps support, call-SMS alert and remote lock/unlock.
The bike will have the option of three charging modes – Trickle, Standard and Fast charging.
Also, a wireless mobile charger will also be provided with the bike.
3-level traction control, 2-step regenerative braking, cruise control and dual channel ABS will also be available for safety and ride control.
Apart from this, five different riding modes – Eco, Rain, Tour, Performance and Custom will also be available.
S6 Scrambler: Will be the perfect electric bike for off-roading
This bike will be in a scrambler style, with more suspension travel, USD front forks and dual-purpose tires.
The seat will be flat and the wheels will be wire-spoke so that the bike is ready for both off-road and on-road.
Its design has a rugged look and strong body, which will be especially liked by the youth.
Like the Flying Flea C6, the same battery pack and features can be given in it.
Testing is going on right now, glimpse seen before launch
Royal Enfield is currently testing both these electric bikes.
The Flying Flea C6 has been spotted several times during testing on Indian roads, which clearly indicates the preparation for its launch.
Both the bikes are built on the same platform and many of their mechanical parts can be shared.
Last point: Royal Enfield’s new direction
This new beginning of Royal Enfield is a big step for Indian bike lovers. This first entry of the company in the electric segment not only keeps the environment in mind but also takes full care of performance, classic look and modern features. Both the Flying Flea C6 and S6 Scrambler bikes will give a different experience in their own style.
When these bikes are launched in 2026, Royal Enfield will get a new identity in the electric two-wheeler market.
