Design
The Shotgun 650 has been called the “Factory Custom” motorcycle as it is inspired by many custom motorcycle builders. Its design is unique and attractive — gives an aggressive but premium look to the front-wide fuel tank, muscular side panels, and low-slung stance bike. Its single-seater design gives it a real Bobber appeal. However, the company has also introduced it with the Pilian seat option, which can be converted to luggage rack if needed.
Engine and performance
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 features a 648cc parallel-twin BS6 engine that generates 46.39 bhp power and 52.3 Nm of torque. This engine comes with 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. This engine is not only powerful but also smooth and refined. Suspension and Riding Comfort
Showa Separate Function Big Piston USD forks are given in front of this bike, while Showa twin spring shocks are placed behind. Front suspension offers 120mm and rear suspension 90mm travel, which ensures superb riding comfort even on bumpy paths. The 795mm seat height makes it comfortable for every rider, while its 240kg weight provides stability during riding.
Braking and Control
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 prioritizes safety. It features a 320mm disc brake at the front and a 300mm disc brake at the rear, both equipped with dual-channel ABS as standard. The wide tires on the 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels provide excellent grip and control, keeping the bike stable in corners and at high speeds.
