Talking about price and variants, there are four variants of this bike. The price of Interceptor 650 Standard starts at Rs 3,09,310. Apart from this, the price of custom variant is Rs 3,17,485, alloy wheel variant is Rs 3,27,943 and chrome variant is available for Rs 3,37,873. The price may seem a bit high, but its features and performance make it value-for-money.

Design and color options
Talking about design and color options, the design of the Interceptor 650 is its biggest strength. It has twin exhausts with a retro look, which make it a perfect combination of both classic and modern. This bike is available in seven colors in India—Black, Blue, Pearl, Red-with-Black, Red, Green and Chrome. The new Interceptor has been updated with features like LED headlights, alloy wheels, revised switchgear and GPS system. Its seating is comfortable and one does not feel tired even on long rides.
Engine and performance
Talking about engine and performance, the Interceptor 650 gets a 648 cc BS6 engine, which generates 46.8 bhp of power and 52 Nm of torque. It has a six-speed gearbox, which ensures smooth gear shifting. This bike gives a mileage of 25 to 30 km per liter, which is considered quite good according to this segment. Despite weighing 218 kg, its balance and road grip are excellent.
Braking and suspension
For safety, the Interceptor 650 has disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. There is a 320 mm disc brake at the front and a 240 mm disc brake at the rear. ABS is provided as standard with this. Talking about the suspension setup, it has conventional forks at the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear, which can be preload adjusted.

Features and instrument cluster
The instrument cluster of the Interceptor is as special as its design. It has a twin-pod retro instrument console, which has analog speedo and tachometer. Apart from this, the small digital pod gives information about fuel level, odometer and trip meter.
