Renault has launched the 2025 facelift version of its sub-compact SUV Kiger in the Indian market. The car comes with several major changes in design and features. Let us tell you what updates the company has made to the new Kiger.
New Design and Attractive Look
The 2025 Renault Kiger facelift has been given a new and attractive look. Its front bumper and headlights have received a new design, making it even more attractive. However, the LED DRLs have remained unchanged. New 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels on the side profile give it a sporty look, while the rear has received minor changes. Additionally, it is now available in new color options like “Oasis Yellow” and “Shadow Grey.”
Variants and Price
The company has changed the variant strategy of the Kiger. It is now available in new variants like Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. The company has priced the Kiger at a starting price of less than ₹6.50 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most affordable SUVs in the segment.
A wealth of features
The interior of the new Kiger has also been completely updated. It features a new dual-tone dashboard with an 8.0-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system. This system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interior also features a ‘Noir’ and ‘Cool Grey’ theme and new upholstery. Renault claims that the cabin is now quieter than before due to improved sound insulation. The list of features also includes a 360-degree surround-view camera, automatic headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers.
Safety is also at the forefront.
The 2025 Renault Kiger facelift has also improved safety. It now comes standard with six airbags, along with over 21 active and passive safety features, including Hill Hold Assist (HSA) and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Features like ESP, traction control, and ISOFIX mounts are also available, making it a completely safe family car.
No Engine Changes
While the design and features have been changed, the Kiger remains the same in terms of engines. It comes with a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine. The naturally aspirated engine produces 72 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, while the turbo-petrol engine produces 100 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT, and CVT gearboxes. According to the company, the naturally aspirated engine delivers a good mileage of 19.83 km/l, and the turbo-petrol engine delivers a good mileage of 20.38 km/l.

With all these updates, the 2025 Renault Kiger facelift will now compete with SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Nissan Magnite. With its affordable price, attractive design, and impressive features, it will prove to be a great choice for customers.
