Ola Electric, India’s largest electric two-wheeler company, has set a new milestone. The company achieved this milestone by producing its one millionth vehicle from its FutureFactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. To celebrate this special occasion, Ola has also launched a special edition Roadster X+ bike. The company began production of its electric vehicles in 2021 and has reached the milestone of one million vehicles in just four years.

How did this success happen so quickly

Ola Electric began production in 2021 and achieved the milestone of one million vehicles in less than four years. According to the company, this success was made possible by the strong demand for its S1 portfolio of electric scooters and the recently launched Roadster X electric motorcycle.

A company spokesperson said, “This is a celebration of every Indian who believed in us. In four years, we’ve grown from an idea to India’s EV two-wheeler leader. We’ve proven that great products for the world can be designed, engineered, and manufactured in India.”

What’s special about the Roadster X+

To celebrate this historic moment, Ola rolled out a special edition Roadster X+ bike as its 1 millionth vehicle. The bike is available in a striking midnight blue color with sporty red accents on the dual-tone seat, rims, and battery pack. Notably, its badges are made from recycled copper waste, reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainability and recycling.

What are Ola’s plans

Ola’s mission is clear: #EndICEAge, meaning to end the era of petrol and diesel-powered vehicles and make India a global EV hub. This milestone of 1 million vehicles is just one step for the company. The development of the indigenous 4680 Bharat Cell and the launch of new models demonstrate that the company is poised to further strengthen its foothold in the Indian market.
