Are you someone who wants both the comfort of a bike and the ease of a scooter? Do you think the perfect vehicle for city streets is one that offers the perfect combination of stability and convenience? If so, Numeros has something special for you. Yes, Numeros has launched the ‘n-First,’ a hybrid between a bike and a scooter. But the question is, will this vehicle meet the needs of Indian urban riders? Will it be able to compete with other electric vehicles on the market? Today, we’ll take you on this journey and tell you every special feature of the Numeros n-First in detail.
Design
When you first see the Numeros n-First, you realize it’s not a conventional scooter. Its design departs from typical scooter proportions. It features large 16-inch wheels that promise better stability. The low step-through frame makes it incredibly easy to get on and off. The design was developed in collaboration with Italian design studio Wheelab. The n-First attempts to combine European aesthetics and Indian practicality—a balance that could appeal to urban riders who want something different from the usual electric scooters. Overall, the design distinguishes the vehicle from traditional scooters and offers a fresh appeal.

Battery and Performance
The Numeros n-First is equipped with a PMSM mid-drive motor with a chain transmission. It comes in two battery configurations—2.5 kWh and 3 kWh. Numeros claims a certified range of up to 109 km on the top variant, while the lower version offers a range of up to 91 km. Charging time is between 5 and 8 hours, depending on the model. These figures make it stand out among other mid-range EVs on the market. However, real-world performance and battery durability will be crucial factors for long-term acceptance. While the range is sufficient for daily commutes on city roads, it may not be sufficient for long journeys.
Durability and Smart Features
Numeros has sought to differentiate itself with its durability and smart features. The company says the n-First has undergone extensive testing in various conditions—from the heat of Rajasthan to the cold of Himachal—to ensure reliability. The scooter also comes equipped with IoT-based connectivity features such as theft alerts, remote locking, live location tracking, geo-fencing, and ride analytics through a dedicated mobile app. These features make it attractive to modern and tech-savvy users. The hardware and feature list are as expected from an emerging EV brand, but Numeros’ biggest challenge lies elsewhere.

Pricing and Availability
The Numeros n-First has an introductory price of ₹64,999 for the first 1,000 buyers. This price makes it an interesting alternative in the entry-level EV space. Its combination of practical range, affordable pricing, and distinctive styling makes it unique. However, success in this segment isn’t just about the product. With currently limited dealer and service reach – primarily in Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, and a few other southern cities – the Numeros still has a long way to go. It will need to work harder to gain consumer confidence.
