Tata Sierra
Tata Motors is going to relaunch its Legendary SUV Sierra in a brand new avatar. The SUV will debut in November and its design will be more modern, muscular and practical than ever.
The new Tata Sierra was featured in almost near-production form at Auto Expo 2025 and has since drawn people’s attention. The SUV will feature a squarish body design and a four-door layout that makes it more convenient for family use.
Tata is going to give an entirely new 1.5-litre natureally aspirated petrol engine this time in Sierra. Along with this, it will also get a turbocharged version which will generate power of 168 hp and torque of 280 Nm. At the same time, there will also be an option of 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine (116 hp and 260 Nm) which will prove to be better for long drive and torquey performance.

Renault Duster
However Renault is preparing to launch the third generation of its iconic SUV Duster in India. Renault is believed to be making an official announcement of this SUV in the next two months.
The design of the new Duster is brute and muscular more than ever, which will further increase its strong presence on the road. On the inside, a modern cabin layout, several new convenience features, and an upgraded infotainment system will be seen. However, the lack of people’s favorite sunroof feature in India can be solved.
The new Duster is expected to be launched in January 2026. It will be given a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine which will produce power of about 160 hp and 250 Nm torque.
Renault also plans to bring its hybrid version within a year to come. However, like the earlier model, this time Duster will not have the option of diesel engine.
Nissan Tekton
Also, Nissan is not far behind. The company is working on a new SUV Nissan Tekton, which will be launched in June-July 2026. This SUV will be the corporate cousin of the Renault Duster, as both will be based on the CMF-B+ platform.
However, Tekton’s design will be more sharp and futuristic, with inspiration taken from seventh-gen Nissan Patrol. There will be no shortage of both performance and refinement as soon as the engine and transmission are found in the Duster.
