New Renault Duster 2026 – There is a name in the SUV segment that is again in the headlines. Renault has hinted at introducing its most popular SUV in India into a new avatar. The first official teaser of the 2026 Renault Duster has surfaced and its launch date has been set for 26 January 2026. This SUV will not only look changed in terms of design, but is also considered a major step at the level of technology and platforms.

The exterior elements seen in the teaser are quite strong. It features chunky and functional roof rails, embossed bonnet, slim LED indicators and a horizontal LED light bar at the rear. With this the new Renault logo and dark blue exterior shade gives the SUV a premium feel.
Design
Talking about its design, the overall stance of the new Duster is very similar to the European model, but some special changes have been made for India. The front profile is sharper than before, with LED day-time running lights integrated inside the headlamp units.
The front bumpers have been lightly reworked keeping in mind the Indian road conditions, but the upright and rugged look of the SUV has been fully retained. Side profiles include strong character lines, square shape wheel arch and thick cladding. The 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, which are likely to have a Y-shape design, make the SUV even more bold.
CMF-B platform
2026 Renault Duster is designed on Renault-Nissan’s CMF-B platform. This is the same architecture that has been massively localized for India, so that the price of the SUV can be kept aggressive.
This SUV will be manufactured at Renault’s Orgadam plant. The special thing is that this platform will later form the foundation for the three-row version of Duster, which can be introduced in the next financial year. That is, Duster can become the beginning of an entire family line-up, not just an SUV.
Interior
Talking about the interior, you can expect a modern feel as soon as you step inside the cabin. The interior of the new Duster will be largely inspired by the international model.
