A new, fully camouflaged Hyundai SUV was recently spotted near Chennai’s Sriperumbudur plant, creating a buzz in the market. Hyundai’s preparations
Hyundai was the second largest car company in India until some time ago, but now Tata Motors and Mahindra have overtaken it. Or is it Hyundai Bayon Crossover
This is the second major possibility that the SUV seen in testing may be Hyundai Bayon, which will be positioned between Exter and Venue in India. The launch timeline mid-2026 is stated. The Bayon 1.0L turbo petrol in the international market comes with + 6MT or 7DCT gearbox, and many of these options can be seen in Indian version as well.
Bayon will face straight Maruti Fronx like hot-selling crossover. In India this model can get Hyundai’s new 1.2L turbo-petrol engine developed for improved torque, hybrid readiness and high efficiency.
