British automaker JSW MG Motors is all set to make another big bang in the Indian SUV market! The company is soon going to launch a new powerful SUV, which has recently been spotted on the roads ahead of its launch. According to media reports, this new vehicle will be the MG Majestor, which is expected to be even bolder and more premium than the current Gloster. JSW MG Motors is soon preparing to launch a new SUV, which will be named MG Majestor. This new SUV will be launched by the manufacturer as a premium offering in the Indian market. However, MG has not yet shared any official information regarding its launch. But, its glimpse on the roads has filled the automobile world with excitement.
Design bolder and more powerful than Gloster
If media reports are to be believed, this SUV has recently been spotted on the roads ahead of its launch. The most interesting thing is that the unit seen was not covered in any way, which has revealed the full details of its exterior. This SUV comes with a much bolder design than the Gloster, with a large and attractive grille, vertically stacked headlights and strong body lines giving it a distinct identity.
A powerhouse of a powerful engine
Although the company has not yet given any official information about the engine of this SUV, it is believed that it can be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine can generate 184 kW of power and 410 Nm of torque, which will give it great performance. Apart from this, the turbo diesel engine will be capable of producing 160 kW of power and 500 Nm of torque, which will make it powerful even on difficult roads. 4X4 facility can also be available in the SUV with both engine options. Its top speed with a petrol engine can be 190 kmph and the top speed of the diesel engine variant can be up to 175 kmph. The company can also offer an 8-speed automatic transmission, which will make driving even smoother.

MG Motors is known for providing great features in its vehicles, and Majestor will also not be behind in this matter. Premium features like LED headlights, LED DRLs, large grille in the front, 20-inch alloy wheels, dual-tone exterior, 12.3-inch infotainment system, dual-tone interior, Type C USB charging port, push-button start/stop, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging port, and many driving modes can be found in it. For safety, it can be given modern features like six airbags, ABS, EBD, Hill Assist, BSD (Blind Spot Detection), LCA (Lane Change Assist), RCTA (Rear Cross Traffic Alert), DOW (Door Opening Warning), Self-Adaptive Cruising and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which will make it a safe driving experience.

This powerful SUV was officially introduced by JSW MG in the Indian market during Auto Expo 2025, which was held between 17 and 22 January 2025. Since then, automobile enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for this vehicle.
How much will it cost
MG has not yet disclosed the prices of this SUV. However, it is believed that the possible ex-showroom price of JSW MG Majestor can be between ₹ 40 to ₹ 50 lakh. This SUV will be launched in the D+ SUV segment and is expected to hit the Indian market around June-July 2025. After launch, it will compete directly with powerful SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner Legender, which are dominating this segment.
