Grand Vitara: Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2025 Grand Vitara S-CNG for customers looking for safety, fuel efficiency, and luxury features in a mid-SUV. The company boasts that this new offering addresses contemporary expectations without losing the conventional SUV experience.

Price and Variants

The Grand Vitara S-CNG is available in two variants—Delta and Zeta. Prices begin at ₹13.48 lakh for the Delta and go up to ₹15.62 lakh for the Zeta (ex-showroom, Delhi). Maruti’s strategy clearly aims to provide a strong mix of affordability and feature-loaded performance.

Mileage and Engine

One of the major highlights of the Grand Vitara S-CNG is its fuel efficiency. It gives a fuel efficiency of 26.6 km/kg, and hence it is one of the cost-effective SUVs available in its class. It has a 1.5-litre K-series dual jet, dual VVT engine under the hood. With the engine in CNG mode, the vehicle is capable of delivering an 87.8 BHP peak power as well as 121.5 Nm torque. Although it is a CNG-powered SUV, it provides a smooth ride suitable for both highway and city conditions.

Safety Features

Safety remains a high priority in this new Grand Vitara model. It now features 6 airbags as standard across all variants. Other safety features are ESP with Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and disc brakes on front as well as rear wheels. These add up to Maruti’s thrust to provide safe family mobility solutions.

Premium Cabin Upgrades

The interior of the Grand Vitara S-CNG has several high-end features for a smoother experience. Ventilated front seats, PM 2.5 air purifier with display, rear door sunshades, and wireless charging dock make for a comfortable and premium in-cabin experience. A Clarion-tuned premium sound system further adds to the user experience.

Fuel Strategy and Greater Vision

The S-CNG model is one of the multi-powertrain offerings of Maruti Suzuki, alongside strong hybrid and ALLGRIP SELECT 4×4 models. The company continues to expand its product range to meet customers’ needs for various fuel types and driving demands. Such a strategy benefits buyers not only by increasing flexibility but also supports environmental and economic priorities.

Dimensions and Drive Quality

The SUV is 4,345 mm long, 1,795 mm wide, and 1,645 mm tall, providing a commanding road presence. The car does not sacrifice the dynamics and driving comfort of a conventional SUV despite running on CNG, providing a well-balanced drive.
