Design
First, in terms of design, the Victoris looks sportier and more modern. Its sleek profile and dual-tone alloy wheels make it more appealing to a younger audience. The connected taillight bar is a major highlight.

The Grand Vitara’s design is more neutral and soft. It’s not a very attention-grabbing car, but it definitely has mass appeal. Interior-wise, the Victoris’s three-spoke steering and new dashboard distinguish it. Notably, the Victoris’ CNG tank is fitted under the body, making the boot space more usable.
Features and Technology
Coming to features and technology, the Victoris takes a step ahead of the Grand Vitara. It features a gesture-controlled tailgate, a segment-first. It also offers Alexa AI assist, terrain modes, and an 8-speaker Dolby X Infinity sound system.
On the other hand, the Grand Vitara features a 6-speaker Clarion audio system. However, both share features like ventilated seats, remote connectivity, and wearable smartwatch support.
The Victoris also excels in terms of display. It features a 10.1-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, compared to the Grand Vitara’s 7-inch and 9-inch screens, respectively. Both cars share features like leather interiors, adjustable seats, and a tilt-telescopic steering wheel.
Mechanicals
Speaking of mechanicals, both cars are nearly identical in terms of engine and performance. Both share a 2600mm wheelbase and are powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine. Mild-hybrid, strong-hybrid, and CNG versions are also available. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and e-CVT. Power output is approximately 102bhp and 139Nm.
