Mahindra XUV 3XO Review : Under ₹15 lakh, the Mahindra XUV 3XO sits amidst a conflux of compact SUVs, bringing aggressive styling, high-end features, and strong safety credentials. Launched early in 2025 as a substantial upgrade over the XUV300, it directly competes with cars such as Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue. Now let’s see what really makes the XUV 3XO so special.
Design & Road Presence
The XUV 3XO is bold and sporty in appearance and has been designed at the front with sleek, vertical LEDs provided with C-shaped DRLs and a shiny black grille completing the whole look which feels ever so slightly premium. The SUV, indeed, gets huge diamond-cut 17-inch alloy wheels, high ground clearance and wide stance of 201 mm which give it a formidable presence on-road. Looks all modern, muscular like an SUV in a real small size.

Cabin & Features
The interiors are premium with the XUV 3XO feeling well-built inside. The top variants offer dual 10.25 inches screens, one for infotainment and one as a digital driver display. It supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other highlights are 7-speaker Harman Kardon sound systems, wireless charging, dual-zone AC, a cooled glovebox, and a large panoramic sunroof. The rear bench is comfortable enough for three adults and provides decent space for city and highway drives.
Performance & Mileage
The XUV 3XO is available with three engine options:
1.2L turbo-petrol (111 PS) 1.2L direct-injection turbo-petrol (129 PS) 1.5L diesel (115 PS)
You can have either a 6-speed manual, torque converter automatic, or AMT depending on the variant. The turbo-petrol is rather nimble; just shy of 0-60 km/h in about 5 seconds. Fuel efficiency figures are around 11-15 km/l for petrol and up to 20 km/l for diesel (ARAI).

Safety & Technology
XUV 3XO boasts a stellar 5-star safety rating in Bharat NCAP, making it the safest in the compact SUV segment in India. Multiple safety elements are included among which are 6 airbags, ESC, 360-degree camera capturing every single point, hill-start assist, and even Level 2 ADAS in the top models. Some of the ADAS features comprise adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and forward collision warnings, all of which are extremely rare in this price range.
Should you wish to have a compact SUV which is bold, modern with features, and has the highest safety, in 2025, Mahindra XUV 3XO is your best choice. Boot space is slightly below average, and cabin noise could be improved at higher speeds, but it is value for money, and the combination of features makes these downsides insignificant. Rugged SUV ideal for both city and highway mileage usage.
