Mahindra is set to make a forceful mark in the SUV segment with a number of new launches in the pipeline for the next few months. The company is developing newer models, new facelifts, and newer electric SUVs that have already been seen testing on Indian roads.
Mahindra Thar Three-Door
The next three-door Mahindra Thar has been spotted several times on road tests. The design is inspired by the Thar Roxx with adjustments to bumper, lighting configuration, grille slats, and alloy wheels. In addition to cosmetic changes on the outside, Mahindra will also introduce premium features within the cabin. The new interior design strategy will transform the SUV into a stylish and comfortable vehicle for everyday driving while retaining its off-road character.
Mahindra XUV700
The other big highlight is the facelifted Mahindra XUV700, which has also been seen testing. This SUV can arrive in early 2026 with various design changes. Planned upgrades include a fresh bumper, revised lighting, trendy alloy designs, and new color palettes. On the inside, the most significant change might be a fresh triple-screen dashboard design, adding a more contemporary and high-tech look. Engine choices are likely to remain unchanged with 2.0L petrol and 2.2L diesel engines.
Mahindra XEV 7e
Mahindra is also gearing up in the electric segment with the XUV.e8, set to be launched as the XEV 7e. As the flagship EV of the company, this SUV will have a sealed grille, distinctive light signature, and design elements designed especially for an electric vehicle. This aggressive styling will distinguish it from conventional ICE-based SUVs while also indicating Mahindra’s increasing emphasis on electric mobility.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV
It is also developing an electric version of the newly launched XUV 3XO. Slotted under the XUV400, this car will appeal to customers seeking a small and economic EV. It is said to offer a range of about 450 kilometers on a single charge, placing it among the top players in its category for both city as well as highway use.
Mahindra Vision S
To add to the thrill, Mahindra also revealed the Vision S concept-based SUV during the Freedom_NU event in Mumbai. The Vision S is a compact SUV that borrows cues from the design language of the Scorpio N, lending it a muscular and aggressive look. It is set to hit the markets early next year and further build Mahindra’s portfolio while adding diversity for customers who are looking for something modern yet capable.
