Royal Enfield has released a teaser for its flagship adventure motorcycle, the Himalayan 750, piqued excitement among bike enthusiasts ahead of EICMA 2025. The new glimpse, accompanied by the tagline “Born at 5,632 meters,” clearly indicates that the company is designing this bike for high-altitude riding and hardcore adventuring. This motorcycle will be positioned above the current Himalayan 450 and is expected to be launched next year. Interestingly, Royal Enfield is also developing an electric version with the same name, but for now, the ICE model will arrive first.

Design Changes to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750

Testing models have clearly shown that the Himalayan 750 will receive significant aesthetic and structural updates. It features a more prominent front cowl, a taller windscreen, and a larger fuel tank. Additionally, the new chassis features a linkage-based monoshock suspension, which will provide better stability during high-speed touring and on rough terrain. While the design DNA is similar to the Himalayan 450, its profile offers an advanced and more muscular appearance.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Features

This premium adventure bike features a TFT instrument console with features like smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Ride modes and electronic riding aids will also be available, making it competitive in the modern adventure segment. The rear profile features LED taillamps and indicators inspired by the Himalayan 450, maintaining the brand’s visual identity.

Himalayan 750 Engine and Performance

This adventure bike features a new 750cc parallel-twin engine, upgraded from Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform. This engine will be paired to a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. This motor is expected to produce over 50 hp of power and 55 Nm of torque, making it a powerful performer on highways, mountains, and off-road trails.

Braking and Suspension

The motorcycle is equipped with twin front disc brakes and ByBre calipers, fully adjustable USD forks at the front, and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. It will be equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, ideal for both touring and rough riding.

Market Competition

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will compete with the Honda CB500X, the upcoming BMW F 450 GS, the Kawasaki KLE 500, and KTM’s adventure range in the international and Indian markets. The company aims to strengthen its presence in the mid-to-high-rise touring adventure segment with this model.
