Engine and Performance

The Honda engine offers a peak power of 157 hp, while the Kawasaki Z1100 engine is limited to 136 hp. If someone wants a feel of screaming inline-four at rider high rpm, Honda will make the perfect choice.

But Kawasaki is also not far behind. The Z1100 overtakes Honda in the case of torque. This bike offers 113 Nm torque, which is found on lower revs. That is, more comfortable and tractable performance is found in city riding. Both have 6-speed gearbox and bi-directional quickshifter, leaving gear shifts quite smooth.

Features

Now let’s talk about the features, the Kawasaki Z1100 has gone much further in electronics than its previous version. It has 5-axis IMU based safety and rider-assist features. This includes KCMF, traction control (3 levels), power modes, bi-directional quickshifter and cruise control. Bluetooth connectivity is also found in 5-inch TFT display.

The Honda CB1000 Hornet SP is also equally loaded. It consists of five riding modes Standard, Sport, Rain and two user-custom modes. features such as traction control, quickshifter, cruise control and Honda RoadSync connection make it ideal for tech lovers. Both bikes get 5-inch TFT screen.
