What’s Special About the Exterior Design

The exterior of the i20 Night Edition features a completely all-black look, with blacked-out elements. It features black-themed alloy wheels, roof rails, skid plates, side sill garnish, exterior mirrors, and a rear spoiler. All these elements further enhance the theme of this edition. Furthermore, red brake calipers, a special Night logo, and sporty metal pedals further enhance this limited edition.

In terms of interior, the i20 Night Edition features all-black upholstery on the seats, with brass inserts for a contrasting look. This edition is available in the Sportz (O) and Asta (O) variants of the standard i20, starting at ₹9.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The N8 and N10 variants of the i20 N Line also feature a similar theme, priced at ₹11.43 lakh (ex-showroom).

Engine and Transmission Options

This premium hatchback is powered by a 1.2-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 83 hp of maximum power and 115 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual and CVT (automatic) transmission. This 1.2-liter petrol engine also features an Idle Stop & Go (ISG) feature, which improves fuel efficiency. The company has now discontinued the 1.0-liter petrol variant, which was available with a 7-speed DCT and 6-speed iMT.
