Honda Cars India has introduced a new exterior color option for its third-generation Amaze compact sedan. This new shade is called Crystal Black Pearl and will be available across all variants. Its starting price is just over ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Apart from this new all-black look, no other cosmetic changes have been made to the car. The black shade is rapidly gaining popularity in the Indian car market and is expected to be particularly popular with young people.
Now with a Variety of Stylish Color Options
In addition to the new Crystal Black Pearl, the Honda Amaze already comes in several other colors, including Golden Brown Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Obsidian Blue Pearl.
Engine and Performance
The new Amaze is powered by the same engine as the previous model, a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine produces 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. It comes with two gearbox options: a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
A wealth of features
The Honda Amaze features several modern features, including LED projector headlamps, DRLs, wing-shaped LED taillights, and 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The interior features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), a new 7-inch semi-digital cluster, a wireless charger, and fully-auto climate control. It also features front bucket seats, four different upholstery options, rear AC vents, a new 2.5-inch HEPA filter, and a rear center armrest with cupholders.
Safety Features
The Honda Amaze is also at the forefront of safety. It is India’s first compact sedan to offer over 28 ADAS (Honda Sensing Suite) safety features. These will be available in the VX and ZX variants. These include features like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist. In addition, the car also comes with six airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), and hill-start assist.
