Sales
October sales once again showed that Honda Activa’s popularity is still at its peak. Models such as TVS Jupiter and Suzuki Access also topped the top-10 with Activa, but the highest sales were achieved by Activa. The top-10 two-wheelers list of these three scooters accounted for about 35% of the total market share. It is also worth noting that this time no electric scooter could find a place in the top-10 list.
Features
The Honda Activa H-Smart scooter has been introduced by the company with new smart-punishment technology. This smart key makes the scooter convenient and safe in many ways. As soon as you go about 2 meters away from the scooter, it will lock on its own. It will be unlocked automatically as soon as it passes — ie no need to find the key in the pocket anymore. You don’t have to key to open the fuel lid, it opens easily only through smart-wrenching. Suspension
The New Generation Activa H-Smart offers the same comfort-oriented suspension setup that makes it perfect for city streets. It gets telescopic front forks and single spring in the rear. Dual drum brake setup and redesigned alloy wheels give it a balance of modern look and strong performance. Not much changes were made to the design, so that Activa’s classic and recognizable look remained intact.
Engine
In terms of engine, Honda has placed the Activa H-Smart the same as the previous model. It gets a single-cylinder, air-cooled engine of BS6 109.51cc. This engine is known for refined performance, low maintenance and improved mileage. According to tests conducted by GEAR UPDATE, the new Activa gave a range of 26 km in half a liter of petrol. That is, one liter of petrol gets a mileage of about 52 km. This mileage can be said to be good enough for everyday travelers in the city.
