Engine
However, this bike was given a 199.6cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine which generates about 18.1 bhp of power and 17.1 Nm of torque. Its engine with a 5-speed gearbox gives a smooth performance. Be it a city ride or a highway, this bike gives easy handling in both situations. Also, its low-end torque on off-road trails makes the rider confident.
Comfort
The biggest strength of Xpulse 200 Old Generation was its suspension setup. Long travel telescopic forks were provided in the front and 10-step adjustable monoshock suspension was provided in the rear. Due to this, the ride feels quite comfortable even on bad roads or rough paths. The seat design for both rider and pillion is such that fatigue is reduced even on long journeys.

Hero had provided many modern features in this bike as per that era. It had a fully digital instrument cluster which also provided facilities like turn-by-turn navigation.
