Hero HF Deluxe Pro: Hero has introduced a new variant of its well-liked commuter bike HF Deluxe targeted at daily commuters seeking comfort, style, and efficiency. The new one introduces beneficial updates but retains affordability and simplicity in maintenance.
HF Deluxe Pro
Hero MotoCorp has launched the HF Deluxe Pro in India at a price of ₹73,550 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new variant becomes part of the HF Deluxe series as a feature-packed variant with the same emphasis on fuel efficiency and reliability. It is positioned for city ride and day-to-day commuting with low maintenance requirements.
New Design and Features
The HF Deluxe Pro is differentiated from other models with fresh body graphics and chrome accents that bring a more premium feel. The largest upgrade is in the front — a segment-first LED headlamp combined with a bright position lamp featuring a crown-like design. Not just enhancing visibility, this also provides the bike with a contemporary feel.
Digital Instrument Cluster
Among the big improvements in this model is the digital instrument panel. It looks tidy and displays real-time riding information. A useful new addition is the low fuel warning integrated into the speedometer. This is particularly useful for daily commuters who spend a lot of time in heavy traffic or travel long distances.
Engine and Performance
Hero has retained the reliable 97.2 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which gives 7.9 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is renowned for its smoothness and excellent fuel efficiency. The motorcycle also features Hero’s i3S idle stop-start technology, which deactivates the engine automatically while idling to conserve fuel in traffic conditions.
Ride and Handling
The HF Deluxe Pro comes equipped with telescopic front forks and a 2-step adjustable rear suspension for city road use and everyday commute. It is supported by 18-inch wheels with tubeless tyres and features a 130 mm rear drum brake for improved stopping power. Low-friction engine components and specially designed tyres are also employed by Hero to minimize rolling resistance, enhancing overall mileage.
