In June 2025, Skoda Kylaq became the company’s best-selling SUV in India, overtaking strong rivals like Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and Hyundai Venue. A total of 3,196 customers chose the Kylaq last month, pushing it to the number one spot in Skoda’s lineup. This sudden jump in popularity has made it a serious player in the competitive SUV market.

Skoda Slavia Sales Drop

After Kylaq, the second spot went to the Skoda Slavia, which found 896 new buyers in June. However, this number was a clear drop from last year. In June 2024, Slavia had sold 1,230 units, which means the sedan has seen a 27% fall in year-on-year sales. Despite this dip, Slavia still held its position in Skoda’s overall chart.

Skoda Kushaq Growth

Kushaq came third in the sales list, recording a total of 793 units sold in June. Unlike Slavia, Kushaq saw a positive rise in demand. Compared to the same month last year, the SUV’s sales grew by 34%. This steady increase shows that Kushaq is slowly gaining traction among Indian buyers, even if it couldn’t match the Kylaq’s performance.

Skoda Kodiaq and Octavia

Fourth on the list was the Skoda Kodiaq, which attracted 130 new buyers in June 2025. While it didn’t match the numbers of Kylaq or Kushaq, it still held its place among Skoda’s active models. In contrast, Skoda Octavia saw zero sales in June. Compared to a single sale in June 2024, the model seems to be struggling to maintain relevance in the current market.

Total Skoda Sales in June 2025

When all models are combined, Skoda sold a total of 5,014 cars in India during June 2025. Kylaq’s strong showing helped boost the overall figures, while some of the older models like Octavia pulled down the average. This shift suggests a clear change in consumer preference towards SUVs with bold styling and better road presence.
