Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Maruti Suzuki Dzire did wonders this time. In August 2025, 20,895 units of it were sold, making it the best-selling car in the entire country. Whereas in June 2025, Dzire sales were 15,484 units, its demand increased rapidly in August . However, if we compare year-on-year, 16,300 units were sold in August 2025 last year, that is, the growth of Dzire is clearly visible.

The biggest reason for the popularity of Dzire is its affordable price, great mileage and low running cost. This sedan is the first choice of people in small cities and towns. On top of that, its CNG version attracts buyers even more.
Hyundai Creta
At the same time, Hyundai Creta is unbeatable in the SUV market. Creta sold 16,898 units in August 2025. Creta completed its 10 years in India this month, but growing competition and affordable CNG models from Maruti left it behind. Still, Creta remains the first choice of SUV buyers.
