Apache RTR 200 4V: TVS has introduced a refreshed version of its popular Apache RTR 200 4V in India. Celebrating two decades of the Apache brand, this new model brings upgraded hardware, added tech, and bold styling. With a revised engine and design features, this new-generation bike is now available at an ex-showroom price of Rs.1.54 lakh.

Refreshed Design and Colour Options

The 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V comes with three colours now: Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey. These colours give the motorcycle a sportier appearance on roads. Apart from this, golden-finish 37mm upside-down forks at the front and a hydroformed handlebar contribute its handling and the high-end feel. The new construction also gives it a more controlled and agile ride.

Features and Equipment

This new bike is full of features. It receives a dual-channel ABS unit and three ride modes – Urban, Sport, and Rain – that adjust the ride to various road conditions. TVS has added an all-digital instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity via the TVS SmartXonnect system. Other features include LED headlamp, assist and slipper clutch, and adjustable brake and clutch levers for comfort.

Engine and Performance

The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V comes with a 199cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder motor that satisfies OBD-2B norms. It produces a maximum power output of 20.51bhp at 9,000rpm and a maximum torque rating of 17.25Nm at 7,250rpm. The new powertrain gives lively performance and improved throttle response, enabling it to be suitable for city riding and long tours at times.

Ride Modes Enhance Versatility

Its biggest improvement is the introduction of three riding modes. The motorcycle provides balanced performance for daily usage in Urban mode. Sport mode unleashes its power potential, ideal for highways and long distances. The Rain mode is ideal when it rains, with increased grip and throttle, for enhanced safety on monsoon days.

Comfort and Safety Upgrades

In a bid to enhance rider comfort, the Apache RTR 200 4V also features a slipper clutch for smoother gear shifting and less fatigue during riding within city traffic. Adjustable levers also provide for varying hand sizes, making it more ergonomic. Security is also enhanced with the dual-channel ABS system that avoids wheel locking and stability during emergency brake stops.
