India’s automobile market is going to be hot as 10 new vehicle launches are planned in the next four months. From affordable electric cars to ultra-luxury high-performance vehicles, manufacturers are gearing up to launch models for every segment. Here is what consumers can look forward to from the upcoming releases.

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara

Maruti Suzuki will launch in the EV space with much-awaited e-Vitara. This five-seat SUV will be based on the company’s proprietary Heartect-e EV platform. It will be available in two battery packs—49 kWh and 61 kWh. The former has a claimed range of over 500 km, which sets very high expectations for performance and usability in this category.

Renault Kiger

Renault is preparing the Kiger facelift with visible cosmetic improvements and new interior features. While the 1.0L NA and turbo petrol engines will stick around, updates within and around the cabin should enhance attractiveness, particularly in the sub-compact SUV space.

Hyundai Venue

The second-gen Hyundai Venue will launch in the market by Diwali. The subcompact SUV will get a total makeover both outside and inside the cabin. The current engine range—from the 1.2L petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol, to the 1.5L diesel—will be carried forward with several gearbox options.

Mahindra Bolero

A complete model transition for the Mahindra Bolero is planned. Riding on a new platform, the new Bolero will have noteworthy upgrades in terms of design, comfort, and technology. It will be positioned as a higher-end utility vehicle while mechanically bringing upgrades too.

Kia Carens Clavis

Kia’s new entrant in the midsize electric MPV space, Carens Clavis EV, will be launched next month. Tipped to share its battery with the upcoming Creta Electric, this MPV may deliver a range of more than 460 km, providing a good boost to electric mobility in the family car segment.

MG Cyberster and M9

MG is launching two high-end EVs this holiday season—the Cyberster, a chic two-door convertible, and the M9 electric MPV. Both will be sold only through MG Select retailers. With bookings already underway, they are targeted at premium urban consumers seeking something unique and future-ready.

Mercedes-AMG GT63

Launch scheduled for June 27, the AMG GT63 and GT63 Pro will be delivered as CBUs. Powered by a potent twin-scroll biturbo V8 motor producing 584.6 bhp and 800 Nm torque, these coupes deliver a scorching 0-100 kmph acceleration of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 315 kmph. Look for premium prices over ₹3 crore.

Skoda Octavia RS

Skoda is reintroducing the Octavia RS to India through the CBU route. It will feature a 2.0L TSI motor delivering 265 PS and coupled with a 7-speed DSG. Sharing mechanical components from the Golf GTI, the performance sedan will be the most powerful Octavia to land in Indian markets.
