Devotees who wish to please Lord Vishnu offer saffron-infused kheer (sweet rice pudding) as prasad on this sacred day. However, adding Tulsi leaves is essential; without them, the offering is believed to remain incomplete. This ritual brings fulfilment of desires and abundant nd divine blessings.

Light a Ghee Lamp Near Tulsi at Sunset

After sunset, lighting a ghee lamp near the Tulsi plant and performing 11 circumambulations (parikrama) is considered extremely holy. Scriptures state that this practice helps destroy accumulated sins and leads the devotee toward spiritual growth and liberation.
