Required Documents
To apply for a driving license, the applicant needs some essential documents. These include a passport-size photograph, signature, learning license number and mobile number, Aadhaar card, residence certificate, address proof (such as ration card, PAN card, electricity bill), proof of date of birth (10th mark sheet, birth certificate or identity card), etc.
Online Application Process
First, go to the sarathi.parivahan.gov.in website.
Then select your state.
Go to the “Driving Licence” menu and click on New Driving Licence.
Then fill in your learning license number and date of birth (DOB).
Now fill out your application form completely.
Then click on the Next button to proceed.
Visit the RTO office at the scheduled time with all the original documents and fee slip.
