Monsoon Update: The weather pattern in the country is now changing. Many states are now experiencing bright sunshine in the mornings. However, several states are still experiencing intense cold. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms across 9 states, including North India, from January 22nd to 25th. The Meteorological Department has warned of strong winds of 40 to 50 kilometres per hour, which could lead to a further drop in temperature.
Dense fog in the morning could make people’s lives more difficult. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds, rain, and even snowfall are expected in about 9 states. Thunderstorm and Rain Warning in 9 States
According to the IMD, an alert has been issued for rainfall across Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan between January 22nd and 25th. Strong winds of 40 kilometres per hour are also expected during this period. According to the IMD, rain accompanied by lightning is expected to cause difficulties in Himachal Pradesh on January 20th. In addition, an alert has been issued for light to moderate rain in Punjab between January 22nd and 25th.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on January 20th and 21st. An alert has been issued for heavy snowfall and rain in Kashmir on January 22nd and 23rd, and in Himachal Pradesh on January 23rd.
Weather Forecast for Bihar
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Bihar may change from January 20th. According to the IMD, temperatures in Patna, the capital city, as well as in Gaya, Jehanabad, Buxar, Siwan, Bhojpur, Saran, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Saharsa, Purnea, Katihar, and Araria may drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius.
Fog and Cold Wave Warning
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for “very dense fog” in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh. A particularly thick blanket of fog is expected in Punjab on January 21st. Dense fog will also prevail in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Snowfall and icy winds are anticipated in the mountainous regions.
