Ladki Bahin Yojana Installment update: Beneficiaries of the Ladki Bahin Yojana have only one question in mind: when will their 1,500 rupees arrive? In fact, beneficiaries have not yet received their payments for December and January. As a result, all beneficiaries are worried about where their money is stuck.

If you are also taking advantage of the Ladki Behen Yojana, there’s good news for you. Sources indicate that beneficiaries of the Ladki Behen Yojana may receive their funds on January 14th, Makar Sankranti. However, official confirmation from the government is still pending.

When will the next installment come?

BJP candidate Tejaswi Ghosalkar, who recently entered the election campaign, claimed that eligible women under the Ladki Behen Yojana would receive installments for both December and January on January 14th. If this happens, Rs 3,000 will be credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts on the 14th. Meanwhile, an official from the Ministry of Women and Child Development stated that the model code of conduct is currently in effect due to the civic elections, which could delay the release of funds. It should be noted that civic elections are scheduled for January 15th in Maharashtra.

These women will not get money

Many women enrolled in this scheme still haven’t completed their e-KYC. Therefore, their funds may be blocked. The deadline for e-KYC for the Ladki Behen Yojana was December 31, 2025, but it has not been extended. The eKYC option has also been removed from the website.

When was the Ladki Behen Yojana started?

The Maharashtra government launched the “Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behen Yojana” in June 2024. The scheme aims to economically empower women and improve their quality of life. Under this scheme, eligible women are given a monthly amount of Rs 1,500 directly into their bank accounts through DBT.
