Ration Card Update: The government is providing free and subsidised rations to empower people financially. To make this system transparent, the government has adopted modern technology. The aim is to ensure that the benefits of government food grains reach only those who are truly entitled to them. In this process, action is being taken against those who are financially well-off but are still availing of subsidised rations. These people will then be removed from the ration list.
