The Real Pros of iPhone 17

1. Camera Setup: I would say the camera setup is simply magic. Apple finally upgraded the entire camera system to 48 MP, and the rear camera setup includes a 48 MP main camera plus a 48 MP ultra-wide lens along with an optical-quality 2x telephoto zoom built into the main sensor. In my personal experience, photos are sharp, detail is abundant, and the low-light performance is genuinely excellent. Simultaneously, the new 18 MP Centre Stage front camera also significantly improves video calls and group selfies.

2. Exceptional Battery Life: I consistently get a full day of heavy use and sometimes a day and a half with moderate use. The company claims up to 30 hours of video playback, and the efficiency of the A19 Bionic chip combined with a decent 3692 mAh battery pack makes range anxiety a thing of the past.

3. Fast Performance: The new A19 Bionic chip handles everything thrown at it with ease. I personally played heavy games on this smartphone, and I did not get any kind of lag or heating issue. The phone feels snappy and responsive without noticeable slowdown or overheating during normal operation.

4. Premium Build: The contoured aluminium frame with the new Ceramic Shield front offers enhanced durability and scratch resistance, and the new iPhone 17 smartphone feels sturdy and well-made in hand. When I travel in metro or public places, then everybody notices because of its new design.

The Real Cons of iPhone 17

Now there are a few things that I do not like about the iPhone 17 smartphone. The first one is, of course, the pricing, because the price creep is real, and the phone price has climbed to 82,900 rupees in India. This pushes it further into premium territory, which makes it a serious financial commitment for most of us.

Secondly, iOS 26 introduces powerful Apple Intelligence features, but the base OS still comes with some pre-installed apps and notification settings that require manual tweaking to achieve a clean experience. Apart from these two things, there is no doubt that I really like the new iPhone 17.
