Design
KTM has redesigned the Super Duke R even more muscular, aggressive and streetfighter-style. Front headlamps, aggressive bodywork and sharp cuts give it a appearance that feels like a storm, not a shadow in traffic. In the past year 2023 update, KTM gave the bike an even bigger and bold look, and the same design can now be seen in India as well. Riding positions have also been changed to give a more interesting and controlled ride. These changes not only make it faster but also make rider-centric machines.
Features
As identified by KTM, the 1390 Super Duke R comes with many electronic features. You get a complete package of lean-sensitive traction control, multiple riding modes, TPMS, cornering ABS, wheelie control options and Bluetooth-enabled TFT screens. The electronics are so advanced that the bike intelligently responds to your commands during every turn, every braking, and every acceleration. You can also turn off the Advanced Anti-Wheelie feature completely, turning on the bike’s real “BEAST” mode.
Engine
The heart of this bike is its 1350cc LC8 V-twin engine, which gives a tremendous 187.7 bhp and a tremendous 145 Nm torque. KTM has made major updates to this engine — including a new camshaft, large throttle body and redesigned airbox —, making power delivery even better and tremendous. The engine itself is so powerful that the bike’s power-to-weight ratio becomes around 1:1. This means that this machine gives rocket-like speed in both acceleration and top-end performance.
